Scottish Lilac Sea Glass Necklace In Sterling Silver

This sea glass is a rare example of lilac Victorian plate ware and it is not the same as UV reactive manganese oxide sea glass (which comes from adding Mn0 to naturally aqua glass to whiten it, to better show the contents within, likely a drink). The tone of this sea glass is a mid tone lilac and is lighter than my camera shows here, it is more of a true lilac.

Beautifully rectangular and the perfect size - this pendant has the back exposed to allow sunlight to illuminate the glass from within.
