Beach Comber Award Necklace #1 | Seaham Azure Poison Bottle Blue Necklace In Sterling Silver Inscribed With "Beachcomber"

This little necklace was created as an award for you to treasure, a memory of all the miles covered on foot beach combing this year, all the finds (in all weather), all the archeological treasure you discovered (as that is what sea glass is!), a reward for sticking to your joy in life and a reminder of what you are and should be very proud of- a beach comber. 

After all "when you find a piece of sea glass, you find something that no one else has seen in at least 100 years". 

This beautiful azure poison bottle blue sea glass piece comes from a Victorian pharmaceutical bottle, likely containing arsenic or lead and would have had the words "Not To Be Taken" superimposed down the sides so that even in the dark, the bottle could be read with the fingers. 

NOTE: My camera does not pick up this shade of blue well, it is a neon, poison bottle blue.
