Designed for a flawless and comfortable fit, this necklace has a hidden feature - on the back we have pressed a specimen from our Scottish seaweed collection directly into the silver, as shown on the model.
This piece was created from the idea of a woman, living remotely on a Scottish island, diving for coral and scallops in the azure waters of the Outer Hebrides. The pendant is reminiscent of divers weights and was created partly with imagination and partly with historical fact. Imagine swimming in-between coral and kelp, eyes open and adjusted, wearing this one of a kind sea treasure.
The sea glass itself is a green tinted aquamarine colour, it is the colour of stunning and welcoming Outer Hebridean beaches. The sea glass itself comes from Seaham.
The pendant itself is rockpool textured with a perfectly placed 18ct gold spherule. The chain is also rockpool textured and the jump rings are 9ct gold, of which there are 4. The chain is 18 inches and is a T Bar chain.
Due to the weight of this piece, it requires hallmarking. This means we will despatch at the end of September.
