Inspired by sea cottages in Kintyre, this incredible sea glass pebble is a smokey tone of grey, reminiscent of coal smoke from these little cottages. It is a reminder of simpler times, cosy sea life and finding the joy in the perfectly imperfect.
Grey sea sea glass namely comes from one of either two sources - Victorian lead based tableware or old cathode television screens (which were thick) circa 1969. From the width of this glass, the television screen is highly likely. Who knows, perhaps someone watched the moon landing in 1969 through this very screen - linking outer space and sea glass intimately together.
