After all "when you find a piece of sea glass, you find something that no one else has seen in at least 100 years".
Made with lead during the glass manufacturing process (don't worry, it is 100% safe to wear, lead is not released from the glass, even in water), it is a feminine nod to a history of beauty - from the Georgian's "ceruse" make up powder to Victorian lead glassware to today, as sea glass jewellery. In reality, lead has been loved and prized for centuries.
From the thickness and tone of grey in this necklace, it was almost definitely an old 1960"s cathode television screen that may, possibly, have viewed the 1969 moon landing - intimately linking space and Earth together through the very necklace you see here.
This beautiful ring comes presented on our Seaham sea glass presentation cards detailing the location it was found on a map, the history of Seaham sea glass and a colour rarity guide as well as a silver polishing cloth.
