Did you know that red sea glass contains real gold? While making red glass, the manufacturers (likely from the Victorian era), used gold chloride or gold oxide to achieve this delicious garnet red tone. Red sea glass is exceptionally rare and it is said that one in every 20,000 pieces of sea glass is red. In this drop I have used most of my collection of this ultra rare sea glass. 

This rings shape makes it ideal for stacking with other sea glass rings.
