Mariners Artefact | Rockpool Textured Aqua Scottish Sea Glass Necklace In Sterling Silver On Satellite Chain

Regular price £85.00

Made to resemble an object, once loved and treasured, dropped into the ocean from a ship in time gone by. This object eventually made its way into a bowl shaped rockpool and spent decades tumbling, hitting barnacles, indentations, in time merging with a piece of sea glass, eventually enclosing it forever - creating a new object.

This stunning and alluring shade of aqua comes from Montrose, on the East Coast of Scotland, a true tumbled-by-the-tide historical treasure. By the colour, this piece would likely have been a Victorian drinks bottle, likely from the bottom curve of it.

Chain length: 16 inches, as shown on model (14, 18, 20 or 24 inches available on request, just leave us a note at checkout and account for a few extra days for despatch)

This item will come on one of our sea glass guide cards, showing you where in Scotland the sea glass was collected and the date as well as a colour guide and historical information. A silver polishing cloth is included and 2 complimentary gifts.
