Seaham Gosling Sea Glass Pebble Necklace In Sterling Silver With Satellite Chain

This unique and rare colour is a pale grey yellow and is reminiscent of a little gosling chick. The colour comes from a delicate mixture of selenium and lead during the glass making process and would have come from ornamental Victorian glass such as paperweights etc. To me, it is one of the most beautiful sea glass colours. This colour is specific to Seaham and when worn, it is similar to the pale citrine colour of Cairngorm Quartz.
