(Suitable For Complete Beginners) Make Your Own Sea Glass Ring Silversmithing Class - Every Thursday

This class runs every Thursday from 6.30pm - 10.15pm and takes place in our beautiful sea themed Glasgow shop. Rated 5 stars on Tripadvisor.

This class is great for absolute beginners (yes, even those who have NEVER made any kind of jewellery before) from ages 18 up - although we may accept responsible 12 - 17 year olds if accompanied by a parent/ guardian. This class makes an amazing gift for someone interested in jewellery making!

We take private bookings for up to three people at a time and you will never be in a class with someone you haven't booked with. This keeps the classes personal, an amazing learning environment, fun and cosy.

In this class you will learn: Soldering, hammering, melting silver, bezel making and setting and you will walk away from the evening with your beautiful new sea glass ring you have created in sterling silver from scratch. 

Cakes, fresh fruit juice and snacks are provided for your fun evening of creating and designing. A personalised certificate will be awarded to you for successfully completing the evening. 

You can choose from our extensive collection of thousands of pieces of sea glass in all colours or please feel free to bring your own. 

To attend this class please bear in mind: 

1. Good eyesight is a must, for safety and as this class is detail orientated. 
2. Hand dexterity is absolutely vital, if you have poor hand coordination or strength, this class may not be for you. If that is the case, Laura can do the soldering for you, absolutely not a problem at all.
3. No alcohol to be consumed before attending the class although you are so welcome to BYOB, once all soldering parts are complete. 
   
4. This class is not suitable for those with memory, heart or breathing issues or conditions that cause fainting etc. 
5. It is ideal to start the class on time, from 6.25pm, if you are running late, don't worry, just send Laura an email at laura@intheheather.com.
6. Once booked, the class is non refundable. 
7. Prices are per person.

We are happy to give you a lift home/ to your hotel, within 20 mins, or drop you off at any train station afterwards, no problem at all and we will be happy to do so.
