Choose Your Pendant - Aqua island rain Scottish sea glass necklaces in sterling silver
The jewellery created in this sea glass drop came directly from being inspired by the photograph of an old house in one of our antique Scottish books I found while flicking through (as shown in the photos). I could imagine this house being somewhere on a Scottish island, big and foreboding with lots of secrets, having been abandoned for years.
Inside wooden cabinet drawers, hidden away in dusty glass bottles in the basement, old jewellery boxes with rusty hinges, windows looking out over other islands... what treasures did it have inside? What had been forgotten?
I have found the image of the house below so powerful and inspirational that I wanted to create the treasures that perhaps a beach combing family would have had in their house.
All chains are 18 inches and all elements of each piece are sterling silver and pure silver.
